Postdoctoral Award: The Steadman Prize
The Steadman Family Postdoctoral Associate Prize in Interdisciplinary Research provides a monetary award towards recognizing outstanding Postdoctoral Appointees at the University of Rochester whose research exemplifies the importance of cross-discipline approaches toward examining high impact questions of science.
Applications are invited from all Rochester SMD and AS&E Postdoctoral Appointees.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered:
- Current postdoctoral status at the University of Rochester at the time of application.
- Field of study bridges at least 2 areas of these 5 disciplines: Humanities, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Medicine
Awards range up to $1,000 in support.
More information will be available when the Steadman Award applications are open.
PDA Travel/Career Enhancement Award
The PDA is supporting the professional development of postdocs with a Travel/ Career Enhancement Award.
Applications are invited from all Rochester SMD and AS&E Postdoctoral Appointees, except for current/former PDA co-chairs.
Priority will be given to individuals who demonstrate that attending a conference, workshop, or networking event will provide opportunities for professional development not available at the University of Rochester.
Awards range up to $1200 in support. One SMD appointee and one AS&E appointee are awarded.
All postdocs will receive emails about this award when the applications are open.
