The University of Rochester Title IX Office is committed to fostering a culture of prevention and awareness to end sexual violence, cultivate relationship respect, and create consent culture through education.
The University requires sexual misconduct prevention training as part of its commitment to a healthy and respectful campus community. Mandatory trainings covering Title IX topics are required for all students, faculty, and staff during the onboarding process.

Take the extra step to empower and protect yourself, friends, and community members by becoming a BADASS Bystander! Utilizing role-plays, participants will be observing a potentially harmful situation, and rather than being passive bystanders, they will utilize skills to be active bystanders who take action to interrupt harm and generate positive actions by others. This program will help participants gain crucial skills to take action and start an effective conversation to address and prevent instances of sexual misconduct.

As part of our commitment to risk-reduction education, we recognize that safe(r) partying using harm reduction education and resources is best utilized when they are embedded in the party scene/culture. The Safe(r) Partying Workshop is intended to encourage harm reduction practices through increased awareness of effective bystander intervention and consent-based strategies within the party setting to keep our community collectively safe(r).

This is a fully immersive Jeopardy experience and is a fun way to test your basic knowledge and engage a group.
This training will meet the requirements for all employees, staff, and faculty of the University who are a Mandatory Reporter. This includes student-employees in Residential Life and all student-employees with a responsibility for teaching and advising.
