UR Campus Nomination Timeline 2018-19
October 29: Send a statement of interest (400-500 words; include academic, personal, and career motivation for studying in Scotland) and list your three potential recommenders (with contact information and context) via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and fill out the Fellowships Waiver and Résumé Submission form.
After submission, schedule a meeting with the Director of Fellowships (Belinda Redden). Call 585-276-5869 or stop by Fellowships Office in Dewey 4-209B to make appointment.
November 26: Submit a complete St. Andrew's application (available on the St. Andrew's Society website) to email@example.com. Three recommendation letters due for campus committee review process.
Recommendation letter files should be named according to this format:
Student Last Name_Fellowship Name Rec_Recommender Last Name (e.g., Smith_Fulbright Rec_Jones)
Signed reference letters should be submitted on letterhead with a current date to the secure File Request folder on Dropbox. PDF is preferred. Be sure to provide referees with St. Andrew’s Society Graduate Scholarship overview and selection criteria.
Late November-early December: Campus Nominating Committee meets to interview candidates and select nominee(s).
Sunday, December 9, 12pm EST: Complete, final, revised St. Andrew’s application and final recommendation letters due for nominees.
