What advice do you have for prospective or new researchers?

It's okay to not know exactly what you want to do research on when you're staring, you'll figure it out as you go. If you end up joining a lab and it's not exactly what you're looking for, then at least you learned something new and you're one step closer to your goal. Your undergrad is the perfect time to try new things and figure out if you like it or not.
