I am particularly helpful with mastering interview skills, strategically selecting a research lab, refining CVs, resumes, and LinkedIn and networking.
What advice do you have for prospective or new researchers?
When you first arrive at the University of Rochester, you are told labs are abundant, but clear direction is scarce. Knowing how to navigate this process early on would have saved me a lot of guesswork. Don't be afraid to try different labs and research areas to see what truly sparks your curiosity, because college is all about exploring to discover who you are and where your interest fall.
