Areas where I may be particularly helpful

I can be especially helpful in a few key areas: navigating research experiences across different labs, connecting students with mentors who fit their interests, building confidence in the research process, and putting together a strong, well-rounded portfolio.

What advice do you have for prospective or new researchers?

Don't rush into research just because it feels like everyone else is doing it. Take the time to figure out what actually means something to you, then commit to that. What that looks like will be different for everyone: some people know right away what they want to study, others need to try a few different labs or topics before something clicks. Both paths are valid!
