What advice do you have for prospective or new researchers?
My advice to new researchers is to explore different labs and research areas until you find what genuinely interests you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, or admit when you don’t understand something, research is all about learning! Be curious, take initiative, and remember that every experience teaches you something, even if it helps you realize what you don’t want to pursue.
