‘Anything is possible when we’re United’

HTR announces new downtown incubator

High Tech Rochester (HTR) will expand its operations to the center of Rochester, creating $24 million business incubator facility will be located in the Sibley Building and serve as the cornerstone of the city’s new innovation zone.

EVENT: Kids explore ‘technology in learning’ with LEGO robots

The University is again sponsoring the annual FIRST LEGO League Championship Tournament, in which the top 36 regional teams of six- through 16-year-olds will compete to design and build robots that can turn doorknobs, shoot soccer balls, or complete an obstacle course.

In an effort to increase awareness of and participation in the democratic process, the University of Rochester’s Committee for Political Engagement (CPE) held a two-day photo shoot on October 28-29 called #TurnOutForWhat to document and share photos of Rochester students, faculty, and staff identifying what issues compel them to vote.

College Town is dedicated

Hope community members; city, county, state, and federal government leaders; and project partners the dedication of College Town, the $100 million shopping, dining, business and residential district in the city of Rochester near River Campus and the Medical Center.

New entrance ramp from Kendrick to I-390 opens
