Discrimination and Harassment Prevention and Response Including Sexual Misconduct Report

The University of Rochester is committed to providing a safe environment for the University community to work, learn, live, and socialize together without fear of sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment and sex discrimination, as well as harassment or discrimination on the basis of membership in any protected class. This report is intended to share with the University community the relevant policies, reporting options, and prevention and response protocols in place for our academic and work environments.

The information in this report focuses on the University’s Policy Against Discrimination and Harassment, the Title IX Policy, and the Student Sexual Misconduct Policy, which prohibit discrimination and harassment based on membership in a protected class, and all types of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault.
