University-recognized student organizations are invited to apply for a mini-grant to develop a program or activity that exemplifies the spirit and purpose of Title IX by fostering a culture of prevention and awareness to end sexual violence, cultivate relationship respect, and create consent culture through education in our University community. Title IX mini-grants will be awarded for $200.
Submission Deadlines
Grant proposals should be submitted 30 days in advance of your proposed event or program date to facilitate review by the Selection Committee and processing of the funds.
To be eligible for a Title IX mini-grant or co-sponsorship, a program/event must be:
- In line with the Title IX Office’s mission and values related to preventing and stopping sexual and relationship violence.
- The person submitting the application must be an active student enrolled at the University and an e-board member or in a leadership role of a University-approved Undergraduate College Student Organization, Fraternity & Sorority Life Group, or Residential Life Group.
- Your group must apply at least one month before the event. If approved, we will inform you of the additional information our office will need.
We are unable to sponsor events that do not align with the scope of our mission or those requested outside of the minimum amount of time required.
Please note: Not all proposals received will be awarded a Title IX Grant.
