There are many research funding opportunities and award initiatives available for researchers—both at the University and through external organizations. Internal funding opportunities
Furth Fund
Fosters the development of promising early-career researchers and scientists in the natural and biological sciences
University Research Awards (URA)
Awarded to recipients who demonstrate how their projects favor new research, with a high probability of being leveraged by future external funding
Technology Development Fund
Supports researchers and projects of one year in duration as they develop innovations and get them ready for the marketplace
Transdisciplinary research centers and institutes
The University will fund one-year planning grants to allow colleagues to develop and refine proposals for new areas of research.
