New Issue of Pratilipi
The new issue of Pratilipi, the online, bimonthly magazine about Indian literature, is now available. This issue’s title is “Translating Bharat / India: Something Will Ring” and contains five pieces from a conference that took place at Laussane to study the “Cultural India” created by translations.
Each of the essays sounds pretty interesting, especially Translations And The Making Of Colonial Indian Consciousness by Sudhir Chandra and What Should Be The Task Of The Translator of Hindi Novelists by Annie Montaut.
