A rare U.S. appearance by one of Europe’s leading writers. “Peter Esterházy is one of the most interesting and original writers of our time,” wrote Mario Vargas Llosa. “And his ambitious magnum opus, Celestial Harmonies, is a masterwork.” Esterházy’s reading from Harmonies will include musical interludes by Schiff, his dear friend. To be followed by a conversation with Esterházy.
