Sponsored Programs

During 2004-05 sponsored program activity across the University increased by 11.6% to $341.1 million.
The increase for the School of Medicine and Dentistry was 6.9% to $215.0 million. The College expenditures including the Laboratory for Laser Energetics ended 21.3% above June 2004 at $111.1 million.
External funding for the Laboratory for Laser Energetics increased 45.2% to $63.3 million.

Gift Receipts

During 2004-05, cash gift receipts showed an increase of 11.0% (up $6.6 million) to $67.3 million.
