LEAP Family Access
Learning and Exploring at Play (LEAP) is an exciting learning opportunity for kindergarten through fourth grade Rochester City School District students. The children work with University of Rochester tutors to develop their literacy, math, science, and social skills in an active, creative, flexible, and open learning environment.
In this program your child will be partnered with one University of Rochester undergraduate student who will serve as their tutor throughout the whole year. Your child will develop a close, positive mentor relationship with their tutor. Individual mentoring also allows tutors to discover your child’s unique interests and abilities, and cater sessions to your child’s learning goals. Tutors will be in touch with your family each week with program reminders and updates on your child.
