Inventory of Registered Programs NYS Inventory of Registered ProgramsThe New York State Department of Education approves all academic programs and degrees that the University of Rochester awards. These approved programs are listed on our Inventory of Registered Programs. The official NYS listing of the Inventory of Registered Programs for the University is available online. Condensed versions of the Inventory are also available for download. Produced and maintained by Institutional Research, Office of the Provost, these tables include information that is specific to the University of Rochester. Recent Updates and ChangesStarting with the 2004-2005 academic year, all official correspondence to the University from the State concerning the Inventory of Registered Programs will be listed on this web site by school. If a program is jointly registered between two schools, the program notice will be listed in both schools. Additionally, a summary of each program notice accompanies the relevant correspondence. Program Proposal/Change ProcessDepartments and programs wishing to change the name of a current program or degree, or who wish to develop a new program, must obtain approval of the Office of the Provost after completing the required New York State forms.
