No Screen Day
Apparently, in Hawai’i, today is No Screen Day, a day in which everyone is encouraged to turn off their TVs, computers, etc.
Well, my understanding is that in Hawai’i everyone just hangs out on the beach with the cast and crew of Lost, drinking fruity alcoholic beverages, watching hula dancers, and roasting pigs, so I’m not sure I understand the point.
But, since mainlanders are always a bit “behind” on these “island trends,” we’re celebrating a day late and turning off our computers tomorrow. So instead of posting, we’re all planning on reading Red Lights and staying off the roads.
