St. Andrew's Society of the State of New York Scholarship Timeline
2026-27
Below is the University of Rochester campus timeline for the St. Andrew’s Society Scholarship for graduate study in Scotland. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. ET, unless otherwise indicated.
Please be advised that before we nominate you or endorse your candidacy for a fellowship competition, we will perform a conduct and academic honesty check to confirm that you are in good disciplinary and academic standing; a waiver that allows us to do so is part of the Prospective Applicant Form (available below).
September 28:
- Submit the Prospective Applicant Form if you have not done so for the 2026-27 academic year.
- Submit the Fellowships Preliminary Questionnaire. If it has been more than two academic semesters since you completed your FPQ, please submit the FPQ Update. You do not need to do the entire FPQ again, unless you want to.
- After submission, schedule a meeting with the director of fellowships.
October 18:
- Submit the St. Andrew's Internal Application Form.
November 5:
- Revised Internal Application Form is due for committee review.
- Three (3) recommendation letters are due for campus nomination process:
- Please share this link with your recommenders.
- Submitted letters should be on letterhead, signed, and dated.
- Be sure to provide referees with St. Andrew’s Society Graduate Scholarship overview and selection criteria.
- Recommendation letter files should be named according to this format: Student Last Name_St Andrew's Letter_Recommender Last Name (e.g., Smith_St Andrew's Letter_Jones).
Mid to Late November: The Campus Nominating Committee meets to interview candidates and select the nominee.
December 10, 2 p.m. EST: Complete, final, revised St. Andrew’s application and final recommendation letters due for nominee.
