More than 1,750 students tested their knowledge with a trivia wall, participated in Rochester-themed sticker polls, and created giant sticky note art installations by sharing what ever better means to them and the names of Rochester community members who have inspired them.
As part of Forever Rochester Week, undergraduates on the River Campus and at the Eastman School of Music were inspired to come together to support one another while also learning about the collective power of the University of Rochester family through a Student Day of Giving. School of Arts & Sciences and Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences students exceeded their goal of 50 donors with 117 total donors, securing an additional $750 from an anonymous challenger for the areas of the University that matter most to them. Eastman students also exceeded their goal and kick started the Eastman National Council departmental challenge that will continue through May 5 by raising an additional $430.
