Why did you choose URochester for graduate education?
Initially, I chose URochester to work with Brianna Theobald, a wonderful historian in Indigenous History, in addition to the location, weather, and calm energy of Western NY. When I finally visited campus, I fell in love with the people here and how welcoming everyone was!
What resources or services have you felt the most helpful at URochester?
I utilize my advisors in the History department more than anything- they keep me sane, informed, and supported while I earn my degree. I also find weekly solace in the Goergen Athletic Center (GAC).
What are your favorite spots on or off campus?
On campus, I love Rush Rhees and the beauty of the Eastman Quad. Off-campus, I love to set up coffee and dinner get-togethers on Park Ave, go skiing at Bristol Mountain, and go to the bars in the South Wedge for a fun weekend night out.
