Yenching Academy of Peking University Scholarship Program

2024-25

Please be advised that before we nominate you or endorse your candidacy for a fellowship competition, we will perform a conduct and academic honesty check to confirm that you are in good disciplinary and academic standing. A waiver granting permission for us to do so is part of the application process.

The Yenching Academy (YCA) of Peking University aims to build bridges between China and the rest of the world through a two-year, fully funded interdisciplinary master's program in China Studies. This initiative brings together young people who have demonstrated an interest in China and a talent for leadership and innovation. Scholars are immersed in an intensive learning environment where they can explore China and its role in the world—past, present, and future. YCA offers a wide array of interdisciplinary courses on China within broadly defined fields of the humanities and social sciences. Working closely with their academic mentors, Yenching Scholars create their own study paths by choosing courses from six research areas.

See program website for details including eligibility requirements.
