The most common items that are reported stolen to Public Safety are electronic devices. If your device is stolen, and you report the incident to Public Safety, the reporting officer will ask you to provide information about your device, such as, the make, model and serial number. Device owners may not have this information readily available, especially if they are no longer in possession of the device.
