Safe Ride

Safe Ride offers students safe and reliable transportation between University properties and residence halls. The Safe Ride vans operate after shuttle hours and can usually arrive within minutes. Safe Ride runs from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day during the academic year (does not run during breaks or University holidays).

Service for the spring semester 2025 will begin on Friday, January 17th. (TripShot app to request rides coming soon)

Until the TripShot app is live, Safe Ride will temporarily have three routes (locations & schedules below):

Van # 1: Rush Rhees Library, Carlson Library, Todd Union, Jackson Court, Hillcourt, Riverview, Brooks Crossing

Van # 2: Rush Rhees Library, Carlson Library, Todd Union, Easman Living Center, Innovation Square

Van # 3: Rush Rhees Library, Carlson Library, Todd Union, School of Medicine, Goler House, Golisano Children’s Hospital Upper Loop, Southside/University Park, Whipple Park

This service is provided by the Students’ Association Government in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Transportation and Logistics.
