Overview

We can't wait to welcome you to campus! To make arrival and move-in as smooth as possible, you will be need to arrive on one of two arrival days. You are required to arrive on campus or move into on-campus housing on the day you selected when you signed up for a move-in time, unless you are a participant in an approved UR early arrival program (see below).

Detailed arrival and move-in instructions for students beginning their studies in August 2025 will be available in early summer 2025.

Fall arrival day components

Your arrival day will consist of three required steps. You'll pick up your campus ID card, your room key, and a welcome bag. If your family members are with you, they can also attend Welcome Week check-in to pick up their own welcome item.
