Overview

The first part of your orientation is Rochester Ready, a self-paced online program designed to introduce you to University academics and student life ahead of your arrival to campus. Through videos, online modules, and virtual communications, we work to ensure that your transition to the University is as smooth as possible.

Program components

Rochester Ready is made up of four required components that you must complete before you arrive on campus.

Detailed information for students beginning their studies in January 2027 will be available when Rochester Ready launches later this fall.

Register for your classes

As an incoming student, you will connect with your college advisor and register for your first-semester courses ahead of your arrival to campus. Your assigned college advisor will be with you throughout your entire undergraduate experience, so establishing a relationship ahead of Welcome Week will help you make the most of URochester's resources to achieve your academic goals.
