UR Orientation 2008
August 25 – August 31, 2008
Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to the University of Rochester!
Going away to college is a big transition. Our Orientation program is designed to make that transition easier.
What is Orientation?
Encompassing a weeklong program organized by Orientation staff, incoming students will be introduced to each other, the campus, and the local community. Our Orientation staff and volunteers work hard to ensure you have a memorable week and a great introduction to life at the University of Rochester.
The programs and events on the first day of Orientation (Monday, August 25th) will be geared to new students. Move-in to the residence halls will begin at 9:00 am and programs will continue throughout the day.
Students and family members will receive detailed information about Orientation, including Parent Orientation, in late spring and during the summer months.
Please contact us if you have any questions about Orientation 2008.
