ALUMNI RELATIONS Where’s Rocky?
rockyWith more than 100 Washington, D.C., area alumni in September at a game between the Washington Nationals and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Rocky, the University’s mascot, is one globetrotting yellowjacket. He’s been to Kabul, Afghanistan. To the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Continental Divide. He’s even taken his breakfast along the coast of the Aegean Sea, gazing at the whitewashed houses of Fira, Greece.

Rocky began his world travels in June, when the Office of Alumni Relations announced on its Facebook page the “Where’s Rocky?” challenge: Download and print a Rocky cutout from the page, photograph the mascot—on your travels, daily outings, or anywhere off the beaten path—then submit your photo of Rocky to the Alumni Relations Facebook page for a viewers’ vote.

The contest is monthly, and themes change with the seasons. For details, and to view Rocky’s complete travel gallery so far, visit www.facebook.com/URAlumniRelations.
