The Learning Center Tutor Mentors are passionate and skilled tutors committed to delivering exceptional peer tutoring. They play a vital role within the TLC Tutoring Program across various departments on campus, participate in conferences as presenters, and contribute to the recruitment, hiring, and training of new tutors. Their dedication goes beyond expectations, setting a remarkable example for others in the program.

Hi! My name is Clare (she/her), and I am part of the Class of 2027 majoring in Molecular Genetics with a minor in Optics. I mostly tutor for the Introduction to Calculus series along with some Music Theory and Biology courses as well. Outside of school and tutoring, I am working at 2 eye clinics here in Rochester. You can also find me enjoying a walk/bike ride by the river on a good day. I am so honored to be a tutor mentor at the Learning Center and am looking forward to meeting you all!

Anushka Dey

Hi everyone! I am Anushka Dey (she/her) and in the class of 2027. I am majoring in Microbiology and Clinical and Translational Sciences and tutor in biology and chemistry courses. I also served as a TA in biochemistry, organic chemistry, and general chemistry. Besides tutoring, you will normally catch me working in the emergency department, working in lab, or catching dinner in CollegeTown (I love Taichi!). Hello! My name is Alicia Markovich (she/her), and I'm in the class of 2027 studying Computational Linguistics and American Sign Language. I mainly tutor for linguistics courses, with a couple CSC and BCSC as well. Outside of school, I love most fiber arts, specifically crocheting and sewing, but I also just started cross stitch and really love it! Reading and cooking are also massive hobbies of mine.
