The River Campus Jazz Ensemble is a roughly 20-member group dedicated to performing a variety of both big band and contemporary jazz works. The jazz ensemble is currently under the direction of Miles Brown.

This concert marks the second year of a collaborative effort between the two groups. It will feature Brown and Tiberio performing one piece each with the other's ensemble, with Brown playing string bass with the wind symphony and Tiberio performing on saxophone with the jazz ensemble.
