Richard Cogen is the new leader of the energy and environmental practice group at the law firm Nixon Peabody. He is based in the firm’s Albany office. . . . Stephen Bonadies has been named chief conservator and deputy director of collections management for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Bruce Rapkin has been appointed director of the Marilyn and Stanley M. Katz Comprehensive Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Bruce will also lead a new division of Einstein’s Department of Epidemiology and Population Health. . . . Todd Federman, a former hedge fund manager, has published Rhymes for Turbulent Times (CreateSpace, 2009), a satirical exploration of the global financial meltdown, told in verse.

Jane Dubin ’79 (MA) is president of the theater production company Double Play Connections, and has joined the producing team of Alan Ayckbourn’s The Norman Conquests, performed on Broadway from April through July. Her last show, Beebo Brinker Chronicles, won the 2008 Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award for “Outstanding New York Theater—Broadway/Off-Broadway.”
