Late Arrivals

Welcome Week is the foundation to your success in your first semester and beyond at URochester. All incoming students are required to attend and arrive on campus on their selected arrival day.

However, if you have an unexpected emergency that delays your arrival, please see below for the hours and locations to compete your on-campus check-in during Welcome Week.

Requests and approvals

If you have an unexpected emergency such as illness or visa delay, we can accommodate your late arrival through Saturday, August 29. If you are unable to make it to campus prior to the first day of the fall semester on Monday, August 31, contact us at orientation@rochester.edu as soon as possible, as you will need to submit a formal request for late arrival to be approved by the University.
