From trestle to trail

Contractor Mark Hetzel helps prepare the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad Bridge over the Genesee River and Wilson Boulevard adjacent to the University its conversion into a pedestrian bridge. Once completed later this fall, the bridge will connect the east and west bank Genesee Riverway Trails, and will be open to bicyclists, pedestrians, and cross-country skiers. Workers ask students to avoid the area while construction is under way.
