The orientation team will help to greet more than 1,300 freshmen (including 400 international students), 100 transfer students, and their families. Registration and information about Parent Orientation, Orientation Online, and preregistration are available at Rochester.edu/college/orientation. Email orientation@rochester.edu or call (585) 275-4414 to learn more.

Eastman orientation
During the Eastman School of Music’s orientation program, August 24 to 30 (August 22 to 30 for international students), new students will receive academic advising and take placement exams, register for classes, get to know resident advisors, and more. A Family Orientation Session on August 24 will help familiarize families with student life, residential life, and academic life. All Eastman students recently received an email with information about orientation, setting up University email accounts, and other important details regarding their future at Eastman.
