Sam Gold graduated from the University at Buffalo in May with a master’s degree in urban planning. He writes, “This year and last year I received the Dean’s Award for highest GPA (4.0), and I graduated at the top of my class. My master’s research and thesis is entitled, ‘Correlating Childhood Obesity to Neighborhood Design.’” . . . Laura Patric and Gerald Furciniti were married on September 20, 2003, in Rochester. Laura is a regulatory analyst at Frontier Corp., and Gerald is a portfolio manager at QCI Asset Management. . . . Adrianne Pauls writes, “I graduated, cum laude, from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in May. At Northwestern, I was notes and comments editor on the business law review, Journal of Small and Emerging Business Law, for two years, a research fellow in the field of health law, and a teaching assistant for the legal analysis and writing department, and I clerked two years for the Oregon Department of Justice.” . . . Grace Pazdan, a law student at American University Washington College of Law, was awarded an Equal Justice Foundation Fellowship to work at the Global Rights field office in Morocco for the summer. . . . Kathleen Scheiderich writes, “I received a master’s degree in oceanography from the University of Delaware’s College of Marine Studies in May. I will begin pursuing a Ph.D. in geology at the University of Maryland in the fall.” . . . Sarah Sitarek and Craig DeLeo were married on May 30 in St. Thomas. Sarah and Craig work at Cingular Wireless in Atlanta.

2001
Amanda Baldauf and Nate Slavik ’99 were married on September 27, 2003. Alumni in attendance included Jason Bandel, Brian and Elizabeth Sheridan Clancy ’99, ’00W (MS), Michael ’00 and Brianne Provo Fracassi, Dan ’97 and Penny Perrotto Goldsmith ’97, Paul Hammond, Mahbubul Haque, Alison Henry ’02, Ann Marie McNamara, Jason Nolan, Michael ’00 and Elizabeth Close Null ’00, Emily Portugal ’03, Traci Rogers ’00, Jaerid Rossi ’02, Graig Solow, and Jean Tabone ’99. Nate is a mechanical engineer with Bearsch Compeau Knudson in Binghamton, N.Y., and Amanda is an environmental engineer with IBM in Endicott, N.Y. . . . Robert Strickler and Kelly Michalski were married on June 5 in Athol Springs, N.Y. Robert is a warehouse manager for American Homepatient, and Kelly is a keyboard specialist at the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. They live in Angola, N.Y.

2002
Robert Gellman and Stephanie Overholt announce their engagement. A July 2005 wedding is planned. Robert is a graduate student in family therapy at the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Stephanie is a physical therapy graduate student at Nazareth College.
