At Rochester:

• Played field hockey and competed for the swimming and diving team in all four years on the River Campus
• Co-captain of field hockey as a senior, co-captain of swimming junior and senior years
• Graduated with a B.S. in Nursing in 1979

Post-Graduate:

• Home care nurse in New York City
• Previously worked in hospital and home care settings in Boston
• Taught nursing for one year at the University of Massachusetts and Holyoke Community College
• Has traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru to evaluate health care projects
