At Rochester:

  • Four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams
  • Earned a total of eight All-America honors in those sports, excelling as a distance runner
  • As a freshman, placed second overall in the United States Junior National 10,000 Meter Final
  • Member of the 1989 United States Junior National Track and Field Team as a freshman
  • Gold medallist in the United States vs. Canada Dual Meet as a freshman
  • Received a silver medal for the United States Junior Summer Games as a freshman
  • Member of the National Champion Cross Country Team as a junior
  • Selected as a GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American
  • Rochester won the New York State cross country title in each of his four seasons, the UAA cross country and track and field titles in his junior and senior years
  • Graduated with a B.A. in economics and public policy Cum Laude in 1992

Post-Graduate:

  • Master of Business Administration, Accounting and Health Care Management in 1994 from SUNY Buffalo
  • Currently is Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Catholic Health System in Buffalo, NY
  • Affiliated with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Healthcare Financial Management Association
  • Member of numerous Community boards
  • Awarded Buffalo Business First 40 under 40 Award in 2006
  • Named three-time Buffalo News Runner of the Years in 1993, 1996, and 1999
  • Awarded six-time Buffalo Corporate Challenge Road Race Champion from 1997-2002
