Eric, a native of Binghamton, NY, joined the athletic department at the University of Rochester as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2002. He spent the previous five years as the Head Athletic Trainer at the California State University Maritime Academy. At CSUM he developed a sports medicine program and created a functional operating training room. While attaining his masters degree at Columbia University Teachers College Rozen worked as a full time graduate assistant in the athletic department. He worked with such sports as football, field hockey, lacrosse and swimming and diving.

Rozen started his professional career in Atlanta, GA, working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic and providing athletic trainer coverage at local high schools. Eric completed his certification process at Lehigh University working with the football team. At the international level Rozen worked as venue site athletic trainer for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, and was a member of the medical staff for the United States at the World Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2001. He is currently an active board member of the College Athletic Trainers Society (CATS).

Eric and his wife Tarryn live in Pittsford, NY with their daughter Dara, and son Seth.
