Rochester Ready Schedule
Rochester Ready, the online orientation program at the College, is designed to connect you to members of University of Rochester community and the many resources available to both you and your student. All sessions will be recorded and available for viewing with captioning following the presentations.
Rochester Ready utilizes Zoom to remotely connect participants to share information including audio, video, and presentation content. In order to register for a Rochester Ready session:
- Click the plus sign next to the session title below to expand the box.
- Click on the Register Now button below the session description to be directed to the session's Zoom registration page.
- Enter your full name and email address on the session's Zoom registration page.
- A confirmation email with a link to join the session on its scheduled date and time will be sent to the email address you provided on the Zoom registration page.

In this recording, Dawn Bruner, director of parent and family relations, and Melissa Raucci, assistant director for college programs in the David T. Kearns Center for Leadership and Diversity, welcome first-generation students and families to the University and answer questions.

Please note: A few of the student Rochester Ready videos are only available for students to watch by signing into their accounts on Blackboard, the University's learning management system. Parents and family members do not have access to Blackboard and therefore, will not be able to view these videos.
