Set Up Your Rochester Email Account
First things first! In order to receive email communications from the Orientation team, your College Advisor, and other University community members, you'll need to access your University of Rochester email account. Expand the box below to learn how to access your email account.
As a student, you will be provided with a Gmail account to use during your time at Rochester (and beyond!). The format of your student email address is: netID@u.rochester.edu
Your email account is set up for you automatically—all you need to do is navigate to the login page and enter your NetID and password to access your account. Your account includes 10GB of storage (including emails), enhanced mail search, Instant Messenger chat integration, access to Google Drive, and full calendar use.

Rochester Family is a monthly newsletter featuring University news and events, as well as advice and student support resources. Parents or guardians of incoming students will receive their first edition of Parents Buzz based on when their student begins classes:
