Enrollment Verification
Students can request verification or confirmation of their enrollment status with the University in the following ways:
- Through a partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse, the University of Rochester provides instant and official enrollment verifications. (Please note: An instant enrollment verification through the National Student Clearinghouse is available at the start of each semester.)
- Students current or previous can request an official transcript through our partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse. See our transcript page for more information.
Enrollment can only be verified for the actual term in which a student is registered. Verification of future enrollment or class registration cannot be issued until the registration occurs in the UR student information system.
If you attended before 1986 or do not have a NetID, the National Student Clearinghouse service for an instant enrollment verification may not be available. If you are seeking an enrollment verification, please see the instructions above to request an official transcript or contact our office via email at registrar@rochester.edu.
If you have a specific form for enrollment verification, please email it to the Office of the University Registrar at registrar@rochester.edu for review.
Third Party Requests
The University of Rochester utilizes the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) for all third-party verification requests. All requests must be submitted directly to NSC. Any questions/clarification requests should also be sent back to the National Student Clearinghouse by email at degreeverify@studentclearinghouse.org.
