Lyman Squash and Racquetball Center

Home of Yellowjacket Squash, Intramural and Club Sports, Special Events and Open Recreation

The Lyman Courts within the Goergen Athletic Center are named for the great head coach of the University of Rochester tennis and squash teams, Peter R. Lyman. Yellowjacket Squash has climbed to national status, ranking as high as 4th in the country in 2009. The Lyman Courts have hosted matches against nationally recognized teams including Yale, Harvard, Trinity (Conn.) and many more. UR Squash has supplied some of the nation's best squash players, with the Yellowjackets earning 20 All-American honors.
