Hi! My name is Peri Fogel (she/her) and I am a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering with minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. I chose to major in Chemical Engineering because I want to one day formulate food or cosmetics (can’t decide yet!). In the past I have been a TA for CHE 150, MATH 164, and a lab TI for PHYS 121. Some of my other interests include doing makeup, playing video games, and (not coincidentally) tutoring. I currently tutor courses in math and chemE and have found that I learn something new with every session. I love tutoring and I'm happy to help anyone interested in learning more. Please reach out with any questions and I look forward to seeing you!

Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you need anything at all.
Hi, I'm Humfrey Kimanya, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering. My interest lies in when and how to tell when structures such as buildings and bridges are deemed safe to use. In the future, I hope to integrate this in the aerospace field, my childhood dream. I have been a TA in Engineering Bridges class and wish to further hone my teaching skills by tutoring. Outside academics, I like watching movies and enjoy cooking, particularly fried foods- hehe. I know most East African cuisine and curious to learn others!

Hi, I’m Trevor, and my majors are physics and music. I have a passion for teaching, and I’m so glad I have a chance to do so here at the Learning Center. Outside of the Learning Center, I have been working as a physics TA for a two years now in the introductory physics classes. Music is what I want to go into for my career tho as I am looking at pursing a degree in music theory pedagogy as my ultimate goal is to become a music theory professor. My primary instrument is voice, that I take primary lessons for at Eastman, though I also play piano and a bit of ukulele. Outside of academics, I am on the eboard of music interest floor (also called MIF), and I am also involved in OBOC and the strong jugglers. In tutoring, I have a very analytical teaching approach. I like to try and gather all the information from the student, finding out what they do and don’t understand, and then helping them fix their initial mistakes or guiding them through the setup of the problem. Feel free to reach out by email if you have any questions.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions!
