Joe Sberro wrote an enthusiastic note with a promise of more informaton. He and his mate have bought a property between Albuquerque and Santa Fe and were on their way to meet with a builder, attend pow-wows at the northern Pueblos, and look for Christmas gifts (that's planning). He is a consultant specializing in the climate of the Caribbean and South America at the Office of International Activities/National Weather Service. If he is good to his word, I will be able to write more of his activities in a future note. His e-mail address is: Joseph.Sberro@noaa.gov. and his home address is 3712 Rodes Court, Annandale, Va 22003.

Joyce Bosworth thoughtfully wrote a note telling of Bill Bosworth's disability from multiple sclerosis and the complications of surgery that prevent him from writing. Bill and Pauline Malloy, Bill's first wife, were married 11 years and had five sons. The five sons had seven sons (figure the odds). Bill was an instrument engineer, an avid skier, and tennis player. He and Joyce married in 1965 and moved the following year to Portland, Ore. (6314 N.E. 34th Ave, Portland, OR 97211). Their daughter, Mary, now studies law at Tulane.

Carl Garland is tapering his professorial career at MIT, where he joined the faculty after receiving his Ph.D. in physical chemistry at Berkeley in 1953. Academic interests were refreshed intermittently with sabbaticals in Cambridge (UK), Paris, Bordeaux, and La Jolla. "Early" retirement commenced in October '96 and will be complete when the last of his postdoctoral fellows finishes and adds the 200th publication to Carl's bibliography. He reports that his doctoral classmate at Berkley, Russ Johnson, and Russ's wife, Geraldine Covell Johnson '52M (Mas), were faring well in Silver Spring, Md., at the time of a recent visit. Carl lives at 4 Edward St., Belmont, MA 02178 and can be reached for the time at cgarland@MIT.EDU.

Please note a change in my e-mail address. Although I can still be reached at khubel@blue.weeg.uiowa. edu, my printer works better with a different server: khubel@soli.inav.net. I look forward to hearing from more of you. So do your classmates.

Russ Fullerton writes in with a correction: In the last issue of Rochester Review, in a caption for a photo gathering in Ormond Beach, Fla., last March, we mistook Jack Reinhardt '51 for Fullerton. Our apologies! That's Reinhardt third from left in the photo. The others are Jack LaTemple, Hubert LaTemple, and Beverly Fullerton. . . . In May, Marvin L. Smith '52 (Mas) was honored with the Boy Scouts of America's most prestigious volunteer honor, the Silver Buffalo Award.
