CELEBRATING SESQUI
As regular readers of this magazine ought to know by now, this fall marks the intersection of a number of major milestones in University history:
- The 150th anniversary of the opening of the University
- The 100th anniversary of the admission of women
- The 75th anniversary of the opening of the School of Medicine and Dentistry
As Rochester Review was going to press, the campus was anticipating the arrival of celebrants by the thousands to participate in the October 12-15 Sesquicentennial Weekend that commemorates all of the above--and more.
You can look for an extensive account of the celebration in the Winter 2000-2001 issue of the magazine.
For a preview report on Sesquicentennial Weekend, check out the Sesqui Web site at www.rochester.edu/sesqui/ and the special Sesqui Delights insert to Currents at www.rochester.edu/pr/Currents/V28/V28N19/sesqui.html.
