Paul Marber was selected in September 2007 as one of 78 “Super Lawyers” in the New York metro area practicing general personal injury law. Only 5 percent of lawyers in the New York metro area were selected. Paul is a member of the New York office of the Cochran Firm, the nationwide law firm founded by the late Johnnie Cochran Jr.

Lynn Short Smythe and her husband, Rob, are training for an endurance bicycle event as members of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, a program that raises money to battle blood cancers. They participated in the program’s 100-mile road bike ride in October 2006 in Cocoa Beach, Fla. They live in Delray Beach, Fla., with their 12-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. Michelle Creighton Kaufman and her husband, Martin, welcomed a son, Grayson Val Kaufman, on June 18, 2007. The family lives in the Washington, D.C., area, where Michelle is a school psychologist for Baltimore County Schools. . . . Anisa Raoof writes that her Web site Kidoinfo.com has won “Best of Rhode Island 2007” for best online resource for families. Anisa created the site, and her husband, Douglas Itkin, provided technical assistance, and their two sons provided content and feedback. The site offers parents “with tools, resources, tips, ideas, and mom-tested methods to help make family time fun and to help make parenting a little easier.”

Steve described garbage plates to non-UR guests, and the girls spent so much time drinking beer and reminiscing about life in Slater 430 that they don’t even know who won the game!”
