Rising Alumni
As Rochester celebrates its 158th Commencement this spring, we introduce a few seniors who will be taking their talents far beyond campus.

There’s a reason the ceremony at the end of a student’s baccalaureate studies is called commencement. Far from marking the end of a chapter, it signifies the beginning of a new one.
With that in mind, we offer this look—a small, unscientific snapshot—at a handful of students expected to be among the 1,000 or so who receive bachelor’s degrees on May 18. As they receive their degrees, we are confident that, based on their records of achievement and commitment as students, they will make their marks as Rochester alumni as well.
