    Guest panelists, including Alex Papastrat ’09, discussed issues affecting gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students and alumni since the founding of the campus Pride Network in 1970 during a luncheon to celebrate the network’s 40th anniversary. Also celebrating 40th anniversaries were the Spanish and Latino Students’ Association (SALSA), the Charles Drew Pre-Health Society, and the Interfaith Chapel.

    The 2010 inductees into the Athletics Hall of Fame (see the full list) were introduced as part of the festivities for the Homecoming football game. The Yellowjackets fell 48–19 to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in the game.
