UR Year One

UR Year One rests on the recognition that our faculty represent the single greatest investment we make as an institution.

Its workshops, seminars, and social events are designed to reinforce the support new faculty receive from their academic departments and to send and unmistakable signal that we value our faculty as the key to University of Rochester’s bright future.

Through these activities we aim to increase knowledge and foster alliances that fuel career progress and bond new faculty to the Rochester community. We extend a warm and welcoming invitation to all to join us throughout their first year.
