Select a move-in time

If you are living on campus, you'll also need to select a specific move-in time slot on your arrival day. You will not be allowed to move in any earlier than the beginning of your time slot (no exceptions). You'll find the instructions to sign up for your move-in time slot in your housing assignment email, which will arrive in your URochester email inbox from Residential Life by the date listed on the new student checklist.

Approved early arrivals

If you are a participant in any of the following programs that allow you to arrive early to campus, please defer to your coach or program director for your specific arrival date and time, as well as instructions for picking up your room key and moving your belongings to your room. You will still need to complete the other two components of Arrival Day during the official Welcome Week program.
