Created by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students, National Transfer Student Week is a celebration of Rochester’s undergraduate transfer students and the professionals who support them on their journeys. Organized by Office of Orientation and New Student Programs, in partnership with departments and offices across campus, National Transfer Student Week at Rochester provides transfer students with exclusive opportunities to connect with one another and campus resources.

Hear from staff in the offices of student employment, student fellowships, and undergraduate research about opportunities for transfer students. Following the quick presentation, you’ll have the change to chat one-on-one with the staff and ask questions.

Meet Your Research Ambassadors

Date: Tuesday, October 22, 2024
Time: 5–7 p.m.
Location: Welles-Brown Room, Rush Rhees Library

Enjoy food while you meet this year’s undergraduate research ambassadors. These students can answer all your questions about how to get started and how to manage participating in research as part of your undergraduate academic experience. Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research.

National Transfer Student Week Celebration

Celebrate the conclusion of National Transfer Student Week with fellow transfer students, College advisors, and University staff! A photo backdrop will be on hand so you can snap a selfie—or take a photo to commemorate declaring (or getting ready to declare) your major, an important step in your academic career.
